In 1999, Brescia University College became a separately incorporated not-for-profit corporation. Previously, Brescia had been owned and operated by the Ursuline Sisters of Chatham.
Brescia’s governing board, the Council of Trustees, is responsible for the governing structures and operating policy.
In addition to the Council of Trustees, decision-making is shared with College Council. The Brescia University College Foundation Board oversees all fundraising activities. The Board is made up of dedicated alumnae and community volunteers who have expertise in fundraising, governance and financial management.
