When choosing summer courses remember the following:

  • A maximum of 2.5 courses can be taken in the spring and summer session.
  • No more than 2.0 may be taken simultaneously.
  • If 2.0 courses are taken simultaneously, only 1.0 course may be a laboratory/tutorial course.
  • A maximum of 2.5 courses may be taken by distance studies during the summer session
  • Distance Studies courses have 7 approved exam locations (check summer calendar page 5 for details).
  • Add and Drop dates and deadlines come up quickly in the summer so it is very important to consult the summer calendar (pg 43) and the online fee schedules.
