Gain Leadership Skills, Receive Support and Guidance, Build Networks:
Apply for a Student Mentor

The Student Mentee experience will help you transition into your new role as a Brescia University College student.  Through this program you will develop leadership and employability skills that you will need to succeed in university and beyond.

You will be introduced to positive female role models who have gone through similar transitional experiences. Through friendship and guidance, you will develop a personal and professional relationship that supports your efforts towards a successful and productive transition to Brescia and beyond.

Benefits and Rewards of Having a Mentor

  • Receive support and guidance from a positive female role model and make a successful transition into Brescia University College
  • Meet women from your program, faculty, or background and build up your community network
  • Participate in the Tri-Mentoring Program’s events and workshops to further enhance your learning, communication, and networking skills
  • Receive a certificate and recognition from the Brescia Academic and Leadership community upon completing the entire program
  • Participate in the Leadership Certificate Program during or after completing the Mentee’s Role and become a leader yourself
  • Build networks in and outside of your field and academic program
  • Increase your motivation
  • Improve your communication skills

Who can be a Mentee?

First-year Brescia University College students are eligible to become a student mentee.

Matches are made by the Student Services Staff based on information provided by both students and prospective mentors in their applications.  As a result, we cannot always guarantee a match.
