Girls LEAD Assistant Counselor Program
For summer 2011, we are accepting applications from high school students to be volunteer counselors at Girls LEAD Camp! Do you want to learn more about yourself, connect with others, and make a difference in the lives of girls? This is the program for you!
All Assistant Counselors will be fully involved in the program, helping with various tasks such as lunch preparation, crafts, activities, sports, and more! It is helpful if you have an interest in leadership and working with children.
Are there skills/requirements that Assistant Counselors must have?
An ability to swim, general cooking skills and food safety awareness as well as First Aid training are an asset in this position. Experience working with kids is also helpful.
Don’t worry though, all Girls LEAD Assistant Counselors must go through training to help them succeed. Training dates (typically weekend dates) are currently being determined, stay tuned!
