Brescia recognizes the importance of opportunities for our students, faculty and staff to give back and connect with the London Community. The University hosts many events every year highlighting the importance of women’s education and empowerment. The Just Own It! Conference and Girls LEAD brings young women to campus exploring self-discovery and leadership outside of the classroom.
Just Own It!
This one-day conference provides high school aged girls with the opportunity to be exposed to, explore and experience entrepreneurship. Our objective is to increase girls’ awareness of entrepreneurship to know how to start their own business, or learn how having and applying entrepreneurial skills is an asset to any career!
Girls LEAD
The Girls LEAD (Leadership, Education, and Development) camp has become a choice program for parents and guardians seeking an empowering, inspirational and holistic experience for our campers. The camp program promotes and embodies Brescia’s mission to empower girls to lead their way.
