Aanchal Narayan - BOLD Stories

 A history deeply rooted in Brescia University College and its ties with Western university is what led 18-year-old Aanchal Narayan to London, Ontario.
Aanchal, a first-year student, said she chose Brescia simply because her mother attended the prestigious institution.

“My mom went to Brescia for first year and met my dad on main campus, so I chose here because my mom went here,” she said.

And so far, Aanchal is glad she made the decision to continue her education at Brescia.

“I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and building my community. Brescia is a small community, so you get more attention from people and it’s a really nice environment to be in overall.”

 

Describing her experience so far as ‘amazing’ the soft-spoken Texas native said she has heard great things about Brescia and was looking forward to fulling taking in all it had to offer.

Aanchal added that she was especially thankful for the Bridging week experience because it aided her in getting settled into her new home.

“Bridging week helped me meet people from all around the world and help me get adjusted to life in Canada. I found it really helpful.”

The  rooms are so beautiful, was better than I expected. I’ve been really enjoying living on campus so far.

 

Aanchal said she was also especially excited about her programme Business Management and Organizational Studies, which came highly recommended.

Another plus for Aanchal as she gets settled into her new Brescia community, are the rooms in residence. She said they surpassed any expectation she initially had.
