March 7th, 2017
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

London, ON – In celebration of International Women’s Day, Brescia’s Principal Dr. Susan Mumm will address an audience of over 75 people at the London Club on March 8th. Her speech entitled, “Being Bold for Change: The World Needs More Brescia” will address why women’s education and bold leadership are needed now more than ever in our world.

“Brescia’s mission and values are closely aligned with the inspiration and meaning behind International Women’s Day – specifically with this year’s theme ‘Be Bold for Change’,” says Mumm. She goes on to say, “At Brescia we are committed to educating and graduating tomorrow’s bold women leaders. I am honoured to celebrate our passion for and commitment to women’s education with the London community on such an important day.”

Observed since the early 1900’s, International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The annual celebration also acts as a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

“Being Bold for Change: The World Needs More Brescia” luncheon will take place at the London Club on Wednesday, March 8th from 11:30 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30 (plus tax & gratuity) per person and are available by calling (519) 434-6889 or by emailing info@londonclub.com.
