London, ON – Brescia University College is delighted to host the opening reception of the Between Worlds art exhibit on March 29, 2022 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. This stunning art show will showcase a beautiful display by Ojibwe artist, Sean Couchie and his daughter, Alexandra Couchie.

Sean and Alexandra Couchie are local artists hosting their first show together – an art show 18 years in the making. For two weeks prior to the opening reception, the Between Worlds pieces will be displayed in the Beryl Ivey Library. Art will be available for purchase.

“We are very honoured to be hosting over 20 pieces of incredible art by Sean and Alexandra, and also to be a part of this bold milestone for their family,” says Brescia’s President, Dr. Lauretta Frederking.

Both father and daughter are self-taught artists and enjoy working with a variety of different mediums. In 2015 Sean presented his first show, See Me which is now permanently installed at Atlohsa Family Healing Services. In June 2022, Sean’s next exhibit, Walking the Giants will be featured at TIFF Bell Lightbox.
