Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases, on December 24 Brescia University College was informed by Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) that Public Health has adjusted their prioritization strategy for case investigations. The MLHU will no longer investigate cases that have a post-secondary exposure or notify Brescia of on-campus exposures.
Brescia protects the privacy of individuals and therefore will protect the identity and health information of individual cases. Cases where an individual has not accessed campus during the communicable period will not be reported.
Brescia was notified by MLHU of the following cases, during these periods:
Date Reported | Number of Cases |
---|---|
October 06, 2021 | 2 |
November 20, 2020 | 1 |
November 12, 2020 | 1 |

The health and safety of the community is Brescia's top priority. We are taking every precaution necessary to maintain the health, safety and well-being of the community. Visit Western University’s Health & Safety site for more details on what Western and the affiliate campuses are doing to ensure your safety.
Prior to visiting campus, students, faculty and staff are required to self-screen and students must complete the COVID-19 questionnaire prior to accessing campus.
All students are required to complete a daily check-in through the “Take Care Western” web portal. Students with in-person classes will get an automatic email reminder; however, all students must submit this questionnaire if they are coming to campus for any reason.
Brescia faculty and staff should complete the Ontario COVID-19 worker and employee screening prior to accessing campus on every visit.
