Who can my student contact if they have questions or concerns?
Brescia students should contact The Hive at or 519.858.5151 (Monday-Friday 10am-3pm). The Hive staff are trained to answer questions in all areas related to academic, registration, fees and programming; and are able to refer to departments as appropriate.
Will Brescia be issuing Residence and Meal Plan credits for early check-out?
In light of Ontario’s move to essential students, we have revised our check out date to 11:59pm on Tuesday March 24, 2020. All students remaining in residence received a personal email. Any questions, please direct to
My student is unable to leave residence due to travel restrictions. What will happen after March 31st?
Brescia’s residence and food services remain open and operational for those students who are unable to leave our community. We have adjusted some of the services, operating hours and guest policies to align with best practices being shared with our local health unit. For our international students who may have travel restrictions past the end of the winter session, we are committed to working with them for the duration of the period that they need to remain with us. Brescia will be offering on-campus accommodation for those students who need to stay through-out the summer. Information is posted under Summer Residence.
For those students on campus, how are you addressing the COVID-19 situation?
Upon recommendation from the Middlesex-London Health Unit, we have implemented social distancing strategies within any of our common areas, including the Mercato dining facilities. We remain in contact with the public health organizations and will respond as directed throughout this uncertain time. Revised protocols and adjusted guest policies have been implemented within our residences and dining facilities.
