About the Program

Are you starting to ask yourself the question, “What am I going to do after I graduate?” Have you ever considered complementing the skills from your undergraduate degree with knowledge in business? If so, Brescia’s unique Diploma in Management Studies program is made for you!

This program is designed for students who have minimal or limited backgrounds in business studies. The post-graduate diploma is an eight-month program that provides students with the opportunity to learn and apply the foundations of communications, marketing, operations, leadership and more!

Experience

Employers are looking for people who are self-starters and take initiative to analyze and solve problems. The Diploma in Management Studies program at Brescia prepares you to do just that! Students will be challenged to tackle real organizational issues through methods such as case studies, client projects and in-class exercises to prepare for the real-world.

Competencies

Brescia’s seven competencies prepare our students to lead in an increasingly complex business world. You will develop your communication, critical thinking, inquiry and analysis, problem solving, self-awareness, social awareness and valuing skills both inside and outside of the classroom.

Orientation Day

Orientation Day for incoming Diploma in Management Studies students is designed to prepare you for the transition into university life at Brescia, meet your peers and network with your professors! 

During the day you can expect to:

  • Learn more about the program
  • Review academic expectations
  • Receive an overview of student services
  • Have the option of taking a Brescia and/or Western campus tour
  • Eat a delicious lunch from the Mercato
