To print in the Beryl Ivey Library, you must use the PaperCut printing system. All students have an account through their Western ID.
Printing is 10 cents/page for black and white and 50 cents/page for colour. You can add funds to your account by credit card or by purchasing a voucher at the library service desk. Vouchers are available in $1, $2, $5 and $10 amounts.
To print from one of the library computers, open your document and click “File” then “Print”. Select the printer that you wish to use.
Once you have sent your print job, go to the print release station near the photocopiers. Log in to your account to view your queued print jobs. Click “Print” next to the specific job, or “Print All”.
You can also print wirelessly through the PaperCut website. Login to PaperCut, click “Web Print” and select “Submit a Job”.
Select the printer “cyberman\Genlabs (virtual)” then proceed to “Print Options”. Choose the number of copies you would like and then proceed to “Upload Documents”. Upload the file you want to print and click “Upload & Complete”. This will send your print job to the printer.
Go to the print release station near the photocopiers. Log in to your account to view your queued print jobs. Click “Print” next to the specific job, or “Print All”.
The Beryl Ivey Library will accept the following reasons for refunds:
If you would like to request a refund for your photocopy or print job, please contact library staff at the Service Desk. Refunds to your PaperCut account OR reprints will be provided at the discretion of staff.
Staff will not issue refunds for any unused balance on your PaperCut account, including when you leave Brescia and/or graduate. You are advised to only add the minimum amount of funds to your PaperCut account you will need for your print, copy or scan jobs.

The photocopiers in the Beryl Ivey Library are located near the service desk.
You can scan at the Beryl Ivey Library using the colour photocopier. This will scan documents and save them onto a USB stick in PDF format. If you do not have a USB stick you can borrow one from the library. Instructions for scanning can be found by the colour photocopier.
