How can the Care Program help me?

There will always be someone at Brescia to support you, especially in times when you may be struggling or facing difficulties that are impacting your success. The Care Program will provide you with an opportunity to be connected with resources on- and off-campus such as counselling, academic advising, and financial and housing supports.

What if I don’t want to participate in the Care Program?

It is your choice as to whether or not you would like to receive the support and resources offered to you through the Care Program. We do ask that if a Care Program member reaches out to you offering a meeting, that you kindly respond to let them know whether or not you'd like the support at this time. No matter what, it's your choice.

What should I do if I am struggling?

Asking for help reveals strength, not weakness. We can all benefit much more together than we ever can alone. If you have ever avoided asking for help because of fear that you may seem weak, you are not alone. We all have struggles from time to time. There are always options--and the Care Program can provide you with those next steps to help you get back on track.

There is help available for you or someone you know. You can also find some fantastic Mental Health & Wellness resources, if you'd like to explore them for yourself.
