The seven Dimensions of Wellness is an approach to living a healthy and balanced life
by recognizing the influences on our well-being. Each of these dimensions below are
interconnected. This means that when one dimension is out of balance the other dimensions
will often be affected. Wellness is about the constant ebb and flow, growth and change
of all seven dimensions.

Emotional wellness is involves developing awareness of self, emotions, thoughts, behaviour and how they interact.
Physical wellness encompasses a variety of healthy behaviours including adequate exercise, proper nutrition, abstaining from harmful habits like excessive alcohol intake and drug use.
Academic wellness is about expanding your knowledge and creating networks to support lifelong learning.
Social wellness is one’s ability to interact with people around them. It involves using good communication skills, having meaningful relationships, respecting yourself and others, and creating a support system.
Environmental wellness is when your environment contributes positively to your overall well-being.
Financial wellness is the healthy relationship between your aspirations and financial obligations.
Spiritual wellness is your way of engaging in relationship to that which is greater than you.
