When you begin your journey at Brescia this fall you will welcomed to the community
by our enthusiastic, friendly and helpful student leaders called Soph Peer Mentors.
Sophs are upper-year mentors who have dedicated themselves to welcoming incoming students
to Brescia and the greater Western community. Your Brescia Sophs are your leaders,
resources, supports and friends throughout Orientation Week and the rest of the year.
The week before Orientation Week you will be contacted by your Soph via your Western
email to get the introductions started!
Between the Brescia, Huron, King's and Western's campuses, there are approximately
900 Soph leaders divided into Residence, Affiliate, Faculty, Off-Campus, Charity and
Info teams.
