Nonprofit Management

Are you an advocate for giving back to the community? Or, are you passionate about leadership?

When you choose to study Nonprofit Management, you will learn to lead nonprofit organizations that make a difference within their communities. Analyze traits, styles and effectiveness of women community leaders, learn how to engage with community partners or apply your business knowledge to manage organizations – in the Nonprofit Management program, you decide! Under the guidance of your compassionate professors, you will gain collaboration, teamwork and social skills through a variety of dynamic courses, including: Women and Leadership, Starting a Business or Social Enterprise and Strategic Nonprofit Management.

Did you know you can take your Nonprofit Management experience into the real-world? You will have the opportunity to participate in a Community Development and Leadership Studies practicum to work with organizational leaders within London. And, you may get the opportunity to join your professors at community events including the Pillar Nonprofit Community Innovation Awards where you will be inspired by empowering leaders and grow your professional network outside the classroom.

CHOOSE TO be a dynamic leader for positive change.
CHOOSE TO engage within your community.
CHOOSE TO empower others.

“The Non-Profit Management program gave me the skills and knowledge to work for my community, by not only teaching me the practical skills of managing an organization but also how empathy and understanding are equally as valuable. I am thankful the program offered opportunities to network and engage with non-profits and charities because those real-life experiences have shaped the way I interact with others, and gave me a new perspective on the world we live in.”
