Congratulations to Brescia’s Victoria Hanson who has been awarded the prestigious Canada Graduate Scholarship in the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) category! Hanson is entering the second year of the Master of Science in Foods and Nutrition program at Brescia.
The Canada Graduate Scholarship is chosen by a Western University committee and considers students from both main campus and the affiliate schools. Students must submit a research proposal, references from professors, a CV and previous transcripts to be considered.
Hanson says, “I am extremely grateful for this scholarship and for the excellent references and guidance I’ve received from Dr. Latifeh Ahmadi from Brescia and Dr. Dalia El Khoury from the University of Guelph.”
