Caron, Sister Vivienne (Marie Vivian Germaine), formerly Sister Anne Genevieve, entered
Eternal Life on October 24, 2020 in Chatham, Ontario. She was born in Pain Court,
Ontario 92 years ago, the daughter of the late Adelard and Annie Caron (nee Gamble).
Sr. Vivienne entered the Ursuline Sisters of Chatham in 1947. During those years she
served as a teacher in Chatham, Mount Carmel, Toronto, Tecumseh and Windsor. Sister
also served as Directress of Sisters in Temporary Profession, local leader at Brescia
and Glengarda, and choir leader for the Sisters. For several years Sister Vivienne
had been a volunteer to sick and elderly in Windsor. Sister is survived by several
nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by siblings Sister Marie Anne IBVM (1988),
Mae (1991), Paul (1992), Bernadette Connoly (2009), James (2013) and Patrick (2016).
The Ursuline Community will hold a private prayer service. The Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Blessed Sacrament Church,
Chatham. Interment will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
