Leadership Studies

Are you ready to influence, inspire and create change? Will you Choose to Lead?

When you choose to study Leadership, you will receive unparalleled opportunities to gain the knowledge, skills and experiences to shape our world. Learn to stand up for your values, collaborate with organizations locally and globally, and discover how you can be an effective change-maker – in our Leadership Studies program, you decide! Under the guidance of your inspiring professors, you will develop your own leader character, team building, facilitation and systems transformation skills through a variety of dynamic courses, including: Women and Leadership, Leading Change in Organizations and Leading Ethically in Dark Times.

Leadership Studies is built on three intersecting aspects: the knowledge of leadership research and theory (knowing); leadership skill development (doing) and the application of both knowledge and skills in community settings (being). Knowing, doing, and being a leader in the Leadership Studies program takes you well-beyond the classroom. You will participate in integrated experiential learning opportunities throughout the program. In your final year, you will actively engage with leaders in a local organization to make a bold impact during the Leadership Practicum. For selected students, there is a paid Francolini Leadership Experience to work for an organization on a project of strategic importance to them.”

“My time at Brescia, especially in the Leadership program, offered the right combination of theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience that allowed me to be recognized as a high-potential individual very early in my career and excel quickly within my organization. As a member of the first graduating class from that program, I look at my former classmates and am very proud of what we have all accomplished, with each of us finding success in a variety of fields.”
